Step indoors from the patio with its ocean views and find yourself in the open-plan living and dining area of Summerhouse 408. The floors are tiled, the walls painted a pleasing shade of yellow, and the furnishings very comfortable. A long couch and loveseat face the HDTV with DVD player and cable; in the corner next to the patio, a lounge chair awaits, sunshine spilling over its cushions. Plantation shutters across the sliding-glass doors can be accordioned open or closed, as you like, so flood the room with sun or darken it to enjoy a movie or game on TV.

The living area is spacious and cool, with room for everyone to spread out and get comfortable. Just beyond is the dining table, the ideal place to set up a laptop (you have free WiFi at Summerhouse 408), a puzzle, or a board game. Take your meals out to the patio and enjoy balmy sea breezes as you dine!

Whether you're cooking at home this vacation or dining out in St. Augustine's fabulous restaurants, you'll enjoy the kitchen at our condo. The cupboards are stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils -- everything you need to prepare just about anything, except the actual groceries! The kitchen is such a cheerful place, with spotlighting and plenty of counter space.

The first floor of this townhouse-style condo also features a half-bath with a vessel sink and contemporary styling. So convenient to the living and dining area -- and it means that each bedroom upstairs has its own full bath!

Traveling upstairs, you leave the open structure of the entertainment area for quiet and relaxation in large, restful bedrooms and sleeper sofa. Summerhouse 408 sleeps 6 very comfortably, perfect for a family, two couples traveling together, or a group of friends.

The master suite offers a queen-sized bed, TV, and cushioned easy chair, not to mention a long window with plantation shutters to admit the brilliant sunrise or block it out. This room has an en-suite bath with both a shower and tub option. The washer and dryer are stacked just outside this bathroom as well, making laundry a snap!

The second bedroom contains two twin beds and has a small office off to one side. There's a TV in here too, and a bright window. The bathroom connects -- so convenient! And both linens and towel sets are provided for every bed and bath at the condo, so you can pack light for this trip!

The condo is nicely furnished and very comfortable, but the best part is undoubtedly its location. Here you're right on Crescent Beach, with magnificent sunrises beginning every day, pelicans soaring overhead, balmy temperatures, and beautifully unspoiled sands. To the west is Matanzas Inlet, a fantastic place for nature watching, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and hiking. And you're just minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine, with world-class golf, spas, historic sites, restaurants, and shopping at your fingertips!
